Troubleshooting - RENASYS GO
Having trouble with your RENASYS GO device? Follow these troubleshooting guidelines below for help.
Changing the O-Ring on the RENASYS device
- The magnified photograph below shows an example of a damaged O-ring that required replacing.
- The O-ring should be visually inspected. If cuts, tears or abrasion of the O-ring are visible, the O-ring should be replaced.
- To replace the O-ring, the existing ring must be carefully removed, using a plastic removal tool or your finger to ensure that the inlet connector is not damaged during removal.
DO NOT LUBRICATE.
- Clean the inlet connector, and carefully slide on a new O-ring (S&N product code 66800603), checking that any rolling of the O-ring is corrected once it is located in the groove.
- Replace the O-ring after three months of use (regardless of the outcome of the visual inspection).
