Troubleshooting - RENASYS GO
Having trouble with your RENASYS GO device? Follow these troubleshooting guidelines below for help.
Dressing is not hard to the touch/wrinkled - no negative pressure at wound
- These symptoms indicate that negative pressure is not being transmitted to the wound dressing
- Check that there are no obvious obstructions in the canister tubing

If a dressing change has just been made and the dressing is not drawn down under vacuum and there is no Leak Alarm, it is possible that the port does not have a connection to the wound filler. Therefore check that a hole has been cut in the transparent film under the port. To do this:
- Cut away the existing port and patch with a new piece of transparent film
- Cut a hole in the new transparent film making this large enough to ensure it will match up with the port entrance when the port is applied
- Apply a new port over this hole in the transparent film.
