Troubleshooting - RENASYS GO
Having trouble with your RENASYS GO device? Follow these troubleshooting guidelines below for help.
Leak alarm returns in a few minutes
- The leak must be at the wound, the port or the connector between port and canister tubing
- Check around all the areas of the wound and port, listening for the sound of a leak (slight hissing noise when your ear is placed close to the source of the leak)
- If the location of a leak is identified, attempt to resolve by patching or replacing
- If the source of the leak cannot be identified, re-dress the complete wound. Ensure that you make a seal around the complete perimeter of the wound. If appropriate consider using RENASYS Adhesive Gel Patch on areas that are particularly difficult to achieve a seal due to the contours of the body.
